Every bag of Aussie Veterans Coffee Co supports a mission that matters: providing free allied health services, building community, and creating real impact for Australian Veterans and First Responders. What started as one Veteran with a coffee trailer has grown into Australia's most awarded veteran coffee company — and a movement that's changing lives.
Where it all Began
It started with a simple idea: brew great coffee to fund something meaningful. The vision? An allied health center designed exclusively for Veterans. A place where Veterans could access exercise physiology, work out, see a GP, or simply stop in for a chat and a coffee. No cost. No judgment. No pressure. Just a safe space built with purpose.
In the beginning, it was just one Veteran, a coffee trailer, and weekend markets — barely breaking even. The dream was real, but the model needed work. After countless rejections and hard lessons, we finally caught a break. One of Melbourne's top coffee roasters took a chance on us — and Aussie Veterans Coffee Co was born as an online retail business.
Since then, we've evolved. We've moved locations. Our founder is now a full-time Veteran Advocate. But our coffee? Still award-winning. And our mission? Stronger than ever.
What We've Built
Black Site Fitness — Free Allied Health for Veterans
In 2024, we opened Black Site Fitness, Australia's first allied health center exclusively for Veterans and First Responders. Our specialist Exercise Physiologist creates tailored, injury-focused programs — available five days a week, completely free for DVA card holders. This is what we built the company for. This is the dream realized.
30+ Free Social Events Every Year
Three years ago, we started using coffee profits to run free social events for Veterans, First Responders, and their families. Today, we partner with 15+ veteran and first responder organizations — and thanks to government funding and our incredible customers, we now host around 30 events annually. Comedy nights. Barbecues. Fishing trips. Families reconnecting. Community building. This is what every coffee purchase supports.
Coffee For A Cause — Supporting More Organizations
In 2022, we partnered with The Code 9 Foundation, launching our Coffee For A Cause program. Organizations sell our award-winning coffee under their own brand and keep the profits. We now work with multiple charities nationwide, helping them fund their missions while we focus on ours.
23 Golden Bean Awards (And Counting!)
We're not just about impact — we're serious about coffee quality. Since 2019, we've won 23 Golden Bean Awards, making us Australia's highest-awarded veteran coffee retailer. Our blends consistently rank among the nation's best because we believe our community deserves exceptional coffee.
